The Expatriate
Achtung! You are 30% brainwashworthy, 22% antitolerant, and 19% blindly patriotic

Congratulations! You are not susceptible to brainwashing, your values
and cares extend beyond the borders of your own country, and your Blind
Patriotism ("patriotism" for short) does not reach unhealthy levels. In Germany in the 30s, you would've left the country.

One bad scenario -- as I hypothetically project you back in time -- is
that you just wouldn't have cared one way or the other about Nazism.
Maybe politics don't interest you enough. But the fact that you took
this test means they probably do. I'm gonna give you the benefit of the
doubt.

Did you know that many of the smartest Germans departed prior to the
beginning of World War II, because they knew some evil shit was
brewing? Brain Drain. Many of them were scientists. It is very possible
you could be one of them, depending on your age.

Conclusion: Born and raised in Germany in the early 1930's, you would not have been a Nazi.

My test tracked 3 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 18% on brainwashworthy

You scored higher than 27% on antitolerant

You scored higher than 18% on patriotic

Well Sal and I just finished watching season one of Carnivale on DVD. Enjoyed it thoroughly though it does seem to be a bastard child of The Grapes of Wrath, Nightmare Alley and Stephen King's The Stand. But it did have cooch dancers, lots of horrific ickiness and a great sense of the 1930s period. I'm looking forward to Series 2 when it comes out on DVD.

I'm throwing a sickie tomorrow. Sore throat and dry cough. That's why I'm up late. Can't sleep. Sucking anaesthetic throat lozenges while sitting here. Jack the Cat is dozing on his chair here in the study. Sal's in bed. Might watch a DVD. Maybe Billion Dollar Brain, the 1960s Michael Caine spy movie. This flick has contemporary zeitgeist resonance. General Midwinter, the barking mad baddie played by Ed Begley Sr sounds like a Bush White House neo-con after a couple too many espresso shots. That in itself, is scary.
