"West Wing" actor John Spencer has died. I always liked John Spencer and his character, Leo McGarry. He also did some exceptional Broadway stage work in recent years. As his character is the vice presidential candidate in Series 7 of The West Wing, it will be interesting to see how the series handles his death. (I dislike terms like "passing"- they assume that dead people are going somewhere else.) Good actors who wear their hearts on their sleeves are rare and precious.
