One Of Terry's Corners Of the Online World

Well my laptop is definitely dead. I took it down to the repair place, explained what it was doing and the guy quoted $1900 to repair it. The motherboard is shot and on a laptop, almost everything is on the mb. So it's off to Harvey Norman some time this week to replace it with a cheaper/better box. Now that we have the PS2, I don't need it for gaming so it's a surfing/music/video machine I need. Maybe something lighter, too because this one's a heavy bugger.

queen_nephthys Just checked things out and we have an extended warranty on the old machine. We're still getting the new one for the honeymoon trip etc, but hopefully, we can get the old one fixed up :)
