One Of Terry's Corners Of the Online World

I'm currently sitting in an internet cafe in Paihia on the Bay of Islands. Tomorrow we cruise to the Hole In The Rock, and maybe see where the Treaty of Waitangi was signed to make peace after the Maori Wars. <lj user=queen_nephthys> and I are having a great time. This afternoon we hit a supermarket in Kerikeri where live mussels were selling for around $1.80 a kilo Australian. I bought a scoopful and brewed them up with chardonnay and garlic butter for dinner. 

The drive from Auckland was hilly and interesting. More later as I have an LJ posting on the laptop which I'll upload when I get some wifi happening.
