These 10 questions originally came from a French series, "Bouillon de Culture" hosted by Bernard Pivot. It is probably more familiar to many as the question James Lipton asks at the end of "Inside the Actor's Studio."

01. What is your favorite word?

Anticipation.

02. What is your least favorite word?

Genocide.

03. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?

Drinking really good coffee in an outdoor cafe in a city I've never visited before.

04. What turns you off?

The Liberal Party winning any election.

05. What is your favorite curse word?

Shitfire - though I never use it. I like it because it's ickily evocative.

06. What sound or noise do you love?

The ice cream van. When I was a kid I lived in such a tough area that our ice cream van didn't play "Greensleeves" - it played The Harry Lime Theme.

07. What sound or noise do you hate?

Robbie Williams rapping.

08. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

International Man of Mystery.

09. What profession would you not like to do?

Publicist for Paris Hilton.

10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?

This is an hallucination in your dying brain. You were right, I don't exist

I've been a big soundtrack fan for a long time, and the vinyl sharity blogs are places I spend a lot of time on searching for rare movie related music. But this one is a killer. If you download Can Hieronymous Merkin Ever Forget Mercy Humppe and Find True Happiness? I recommend tracks four and seven. Track Four "Oh, What A Son Of A Bitch I Am" sung by Anthony Newley is clever and whimsical. Number Seven "Chalk And Cheese" is sung/spoken by none other than Joan Collins. If anyone gets a copy of the movie, I want one.
Music:: [Can Heironymus Merkin Ever Forget Mercy Humppe And Find True Happiness? #04] Oh, What A Son Of A B
