queen_nephthys was worried because of her severe MSG allergy but Simon, our waiter, produced a plate of crispy noodles with seafood and vegetables for her that more than compensated for all the fiddly little things we ate. Caught up with a few people and had a cool couple of hours there.
Last night, we did a movie double feature at home, with munchies. Vincent Price in William Castle's The Tingler followed by Samuel L Jackson in Motherfuggin Snakes On A Motherfuggin Plane. I haven't seen The Tingler since Jesus was playing cowboys, and I still like it. A very weird film, which also contains the first cinematic acid-trip. SOAP was dumb fun. A pure exploitation movie which produces the goods and is a lot of fun. If you don't like snakes, too bad. But I was glad when they got rid of the yappy lap dog.
