One Of Terry's Corners Of the Online World

queen_nephthys and I are currently on hols. On Wednesday morning at 4am we drive up to Brisvegas for my sister Sandie's wedding, then we take our time driving back to Melbourne over the next number of days. Should be fun. The only downside is that the wedding is going to be at 10 am on Saturday, which means I don't get a chance to line up for the ultimate Harry Potter novel that morning. Either Sandie or Jo Rowling are being inconsiderate. Not sure who.

Wednesday night we'll be staying in Dubbo then driving the rest on Thursday. Usual stuff. Two hour shifts at the wheel. After Brisvegas we'll probably drive down to Coffs Harbour to check out The Big Banana and wing it from there. No rush. Jack "Mr Fuzzynuts" Frost will be in the cat place being looked after by the nice vet attendants and our neighbour Molly will be looking after the house. All will be well. Tomorrow we go to see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix at Gold Class, too. Not bad.

In lieu of the Potter novel, which I may pick up on Sunday, I have acquired a copy of Charlie Stross' Glasshouse and Saturn Rising by ladnews, both of which I'm looking forward to reading . queen_nephthys got herself a Stephen King =short story collection and a volume on Australian history, which is her newest passion. I also have some movies to watch on the road. (Aren't laptops wonderful?) Arthur and the Invisibles, Female Yakuza Tales and possibly one or two others. Got enough coffee beans from Jaspers for the trip too. Doesn't get any better than this.
At the moment, queen_nephthys is watching all of the latest series of Dr. Who with an obsessive single-mindedness. She's in denial about being a fangirl. Yeah right.
