I enjoy being a content provider to the Internet rather than just someone who posts links to the content of others, then bemoans the health of his cat in a minimalist blog. (Jack is doing great - even when the thermometer hits over 40. He's smart enough to find the coolest places in summer.)

The ASUS EEE is still performing well, though there are some upgrades to some of the software that I'm not installing because they crash Firefox catastrophically, necessitating a wipe-the-slate-clean reboot while holding the F9 key down. If only the Toshiba laptop was so quick and simple to take back to scratch and start again. I think I'm going to wipe the HD on it and start again, a pain in the aese procedure which necessitates endless Windows upgrade files and finding that disk that holds all the drivers... nah, I'll just dl them at work and whack them onto a thumbdrive :-)
