Just got back from the blood bank after giving my 50th donation of claret to those less fortunate than me. Sundry nurses congratulated me and one of them slipped me a free pen - apparently there's something that comes in the mail, too. Donating blood is as easy as piss. You lay on a robotic armchair, they take your blood pressure then stick a needle in your arm. Not hard to do at all. You sit there for a while, they untie and patch you and you go and scoff down some free party pies and a milkshake. Each donation helps out three people, so there are a hundred and fifty punters out there with my DNA in them somewhere... at least 150... well you know what I mean.
