Just a brief update at the moment. I got a call from Mum and Linda the other day and the news is great. When they took off half the breast, the biopsies came back with the news that there's no cancer in the lymph nodes in her arm pits or anywhere else. She's going to need some regular testing in future but the news is as good as it could be. What has saved her life is the regular mammograms she's had done. So the champagne corks have been popped in South Coogee and the only challenge she has is surviving the influx of thousands of catholic kids when the closeted German pontiff turns up for World Youth Day.
