Looks like my podcasting rig is waiting to be picked up at the post office. Sal got it for me on ebay as an Xmas present. And It Looks Like This. Plus we're changing ISPs because bigpond sux. The gear from the new ISP is en route, which means household wireless. I'm pleased about this because I intend to lj from the back verandah during the summer.

Arrrgh - yesterday the wide-screen telly in the lounge room suddenly turned into a big black radio that only picked up foxtel channels. It's a TEAC thing which has now gone cactus twice in two years (both times just outside warranty). So rather than forking out hundreds to get it repaired again, we hied ourself to a local shop this afternoon and picked up an 81 cm LG LCD teev which looks very high tech sitting in the living room now. More fucking expenses but it is very pretty and DVDs look great on it. Don't buy TEAC, they're hopeless.
